On July 19, 2026, Guest Evangelist Doug Ramage preaches God Bless America from Psalm 33:12 and Proverbs 10:6. He reminds us that God blesses the nation whose God is the Lord—and calls every American Christian to stand as a blessed, burdened, and believing patriot.
1. A Blessed American
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord” (Psalm 33:12). The word “blessed” speaks of happiness that flows from God’s favor. Evangelist Ramage rejoices that we stand on the heritage planted by our forefathers—men like George Washington who called troops to worship, placed his hand on the Bible at inauguration, and declared that the God who rules the universe presides over this nation. We enjoy liberty, an open Bible, freedom to preach the gospel, a Christian home, faithful friends, and daily provision—all because of what God has done in our past and continues to do in our present. “I’m on a first-name basis with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.”
2. A Burdened American
The flip side of blessing is curse for the nation that rejects the Lord. Doug Ramage soberly outlines three threats destroying America from within: moral decay, spiritual decline, and the coming eternal deadline. “Righteousness exalteth a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people” (Proverbs 14:34). He recounts staggering statistics—abortion, divorce, crime, churches closing, and a culture that has dignified and glorified sin. “America’s biggest enemy is America... I have met the enemy and it is us.” A burdened heart drives us to pray, confront sin, and stand for righteousness before God’s judgment falls.
3. A Believing American
“Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield” (Psalm 33:20). Despite the darkness, we must remain believing Christians who trust the truth of the Bible, the power of the blood, the anointing of the Holy Ghost, gospel singing, revival, and the power of the pulpit. Ramage shares the California school story where believers pushed back and kept “God Bless the USA” in the program—proof that faithful voices can still make a difference. We believe Jesus is coming soon, and we must live as blessed, burdened, believing Americans who crown Christ as King every day of the week.
America, America, God shed His grace on thee.
Don’t you want God to bless America? Then let us be the kind of people through whom He can.
